An Upperco man was found unharmed Tuesday night after going missing following a medical emergency. 911 was contacted by the man's wife shortly before 8pm on February 19th, and units responded to the home in the 16100 block of Trenton Road. Fire and EMS crews from the Arcadia Volunteer Fire Company arrived on scene and assessed the situation. Due to the nature of the incident, the crews on scene requested for the County Police, dispatched on the initial call, to expedite, and also requested an additional fire engine and brush truck from Arcadia to respond. Engine 432 responded to the initial location to assist with lighting, while Brush 436 responded to investigate the surrounding wooded area. Aviation resources were also dispatched to assist with the search from overhead, and Maryland Poison Center and a local hospital were also notified of the search in progress. Once police arrived, crews split up into teams, equipped with radios, flash lights, and heat-sensing cameras and began to cover the area where the man was suspected to be. At approximately 8:30pm, the man was spotted returning to a house on the property. The man was apparently unharmed, and was treated and transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
