As many of you know, Upperco Volunteer Fire Company is set to finish our new state of the art fire station located at 5500 Fringer Road, by September 2022. This is very exciting for not just our membership but for the Upperco community and surrounding areas as well!
Upperco VFC Members are diligently planning fundraising events to provide the funds to furnish our new building. These furnishings include desks, chairs, tables, kitchen equipment, training equipment, storage cabinets, and other general expenses that are not included in the building price.
With the help of Event Sponsorships we receive higher profits for our Demolition Derby and Figure 8 Racing. Over the years our expenses to host large events have drastically increased, for example security to keep our patrons safe at an event with 5,000 people costs $2,500.00 a day, A production company to put on our event costs $8,000, along with many other general expenses. These expenses greatly affect the net income of the event.
As one of the few remaining companies in Baltimore County to host many fundraising events throughout the year, we greatly appreciate your support through sponsorship. Attached is a form to become an Upperco Demolition Derby Sponsor for 2022. You will see that our sponsorships come with advertising of your business, vendor/ promotional spots, as well as 50% off general admission.
