Shortly after noon on Wednesday, units from the Arcadia Volunteer Fire Company, along with other units, were dispatched for a vehicle collision with a patient reported to be trapped in the vehicle. Units from Arcadia responded immediately and Medic 435 arrived first on scene to find two vehicles involved in a collision. One victim was found trapped inside of one of the vehicles. The rescue squad from neighboring Reisterstown Volunteers worked to extricate the victim from the vehicle. The patient was treated for non-lifethreatening injuries, and transported to an area trauma center by Medic 435. The accident, which occured in front of Sportsman's Hall Skating Ring, is still under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Department.
