On Saturday, February 19, 2022, members of Upperco VFC conducted rescue training at our Demolition Derby site. Members of Reisterstown VFC's rescue squad and Baltimore County FD Randallstown station (Engine & Truck 18) also participated in this excellent training.

Using cars beat up and damaged during past Demolition Derbies, our volunteer firefighters were able to practice basic vehicle extrication techniques using equipment carried on UVFC Engine 852, as well as how to support RVFC Squad 414 for more advanced rescues using specialized equipment.

This valuable training enhances the service that Upperco VFC provides those living and traveling through our area in the unfortunate event of a motor vehicle collision. Upperco VFC would like to thank RVFC Station 41 and BCoFD Station 18 for their participation and assistance during this event.
