On April 28th at 5:20pm Arcadia Volunteers, Engine 432 responded to a report of a cat stuck in a tree. Engine 432 arrived to find a cat well over 50 feet in a tree. The owner advised the crew that the cat had been in the tree since yesterday and she was very concerned. Unable to reach with ground ladders and no access for a aerial, crews tried to encourage the cat down from the tree. While discussing different options and ideas to get the cat down with the owner, we noticed that the cat was attempting to come down. The crew began encouraging the cat again and she made it down safe and sound.
