| Shortly before 8pm Monday evening, May 18th, Upperco volunteers were alerted to respond on the second alarm building fire with HAZMAT at the Battery Warehouse in the 800blk of Baltimore Blvd (Rte. 140) in Westminster.
E852 responded with 5 volunteers aboard, along with units and personnel from multiple companies and departments from Carroll and Baltimore Counties.
E852’s crew worked for several hours in support of fire suppression and HAZMAT mitigation operations before returning back to our quarters late last night.
Additional volunteers remained at the station and handled an additional call for a medical emergency in the Upperco community while E852 was out on the fire as well.
