Upperco volunteers and surrounding companies were alerted shortly after 10pm on Wednesday April 26th for the report of a motor vehicle collision (MVC) at the intersection of Falls Rd and Gunpowder Rd in Upperco. While units were responding, BCoFD dispatch received additional information and upgraded the call to an MVC with rescue.

Units arrived to find a two-vehicle MVC with one patient pinned in their vehicle, and immediately set to work to extricate them from the vehicle. The patient was quickly accessed and removed from the vehicle, and was transported to a regional trauma center for evaluation of non-life threatening injuries.
