Wednesday afternoon, Upperco volunteers were alerted for yet another large brush fire, this time in the Lineboro area of Carroll County. Initially, ATV85 was requested, however fire weather conditions facilitated rapid spread of the fire in a densely wooded area, leading command to request numerous additional State and local resources, bringing E851 and B858 to the scene. Units operated for several hours to contain the fire then bring it under control. By the end of the incident, the fire consumed approximately 30 acres of wildland area. No structures were damaged and no injuries were reported.

Volunteers at the station maintained a crew for E852 for local emergencies for the duration of the incident.
