In the evening hours of September 23rd, members of the Upperco Volunteer Fire Company responded to a call for a residential fire in Hampstead area. A full contingent of equipment and personnel from UVFC(E851 & E852) responded to the call.

Fortunately, the fire was contained in an upstairs bedroom and did not spread any further and no citizens or Firefighters were injured.
