While the crew was filling in company 31 additional members went to the Firestore to pick up our new skid unit for Brush 428. It will be replacing a homemade unit that was built in the 1980s using a water tank and reel from a 1934 dodge fire engine. The skid unit will reside in the back of utility 429 until additional repairs are completed on B-428.

It is a CET Fire Pumps MFG. brand with 100gal. water tank electric rewind with 200’ of light weight hose. It also has a cross lay capable of holding 200’ of 1 ¾ hose and a 285 GPM. CET pump.
