Late Saturday evening about 23:00hrs Engine 424 responded along with Co. 43's Engine 434 to an Emergency Pump Detail on Hanover pike for box area 43-3. E424 arrived first and found a broke water line to the washing machine on the first floor pouring water into the basement, members shut down the water supply to the unit to prevent any further damage from water. Crews were on scene for about 30 minutes before returning to service.
